Position Title: EE98 Journeyman Electrician (Solar Tech/ Energy Specialist)

Job Description:

Applicant must have 3yrs minimum experience Licensed Journeyman, Candidate can read commercial projects plans, bending pipe, circuit layout, build electrical panels, understand basic controls lighting. 3 year experience or basic understanding of solar installations, able to build racking and other assemblies as required. Employee must be able to work on ladders and on roof tops. Qualified applicant must be willing to work days or nights and willing to travel depending on project needs limited to 10%
Must be drug free and have a valid NM driver’s license.

Daily Assigned duties:
Employee management: Time cards Electricians will collect time cards and give them to management no later than Monday 7:30am Weekly.

  • Man hours tracking on each project. Each project is given a man hours goal cross reference this goal with accruing man hours to maintain cost. Hours will be reflected in weekly report.
  • Rules and Guideline enforcement (3 strikes Rule) Each employee has a Policy Booklet enforce as needed to improve the quality of work. All violations including verbal warnings will be reported to Management. Each violation will be reviewed by Management and enforced according to action plan. All notices will be listed in weekly report.

Project Management:

  • Code enforcement – Your job as the electrician is to coach employees on electrical technique, and safety.
  • Task management: Review job prints prior to starting work, Ensure all technical data is followed, set up a work plan! Set daily goals to achieve project timelines encourage employees to work efficiently. Project goals will be reported in weekly report.
  • Pre-Inspection -Electricians are to provide a per-inspection to ensure no correction notices are received. After the completion of a per-inspection the electrician will call management to setup City Electrical inspection for the following day. Journeyman is responsible for all corrections notices so check your jobs well.
  • Reporting of Scheduled projects to management weekly reports are due Wednesday’s the report will consist of each project timeline to completion and man hours used.

Material Management:

  • Ordering material for projects; Review Job packages prior to leaving to job site to insure you have everything you need. Material orders will be complete at 9:00am and 1:00pm for the following day all orders must be signed off by site Forman.
  • Cost management
  • Safety Gear; Insure all safety equipment is in good condition, and is worn when on the job. Provide JSHF (Job Site Hazard Form)
Position Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description:
Responsible for all warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, communicating shipping information to supply chain, supervision of any warehouse staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock small hardware, and perform inventory check.
  • Use forklift to load all pack out equipment.
  • Receive and unload shipments.
  • Perform warehouse upkeep and maintenance
  • Communicate and coordinate information to supply chain, inspection team, crew and Operations Manager.
  • When necessary implement new layout and efficiency efforts.
  • Supervise any warehouse staff
  • Communicate with other members of the operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse management experience required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and spending several hours standing.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Collaborative, and capable of working in a team.
Position: Electrical Jr./Assistant

Job Description: Provide support to the Certified Electrician and the rest of the crew in any way necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Certified Electrician/Electrical Lead with BOS installation, AC and DC wiring, and conduit work.
  • Loading and unloading truck.
  • Assist in commissioning of system.
  • Clean job site.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety.
  • Additional duties required as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of roof work, general construction, or carpentry strongly preferred.
  • Some electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
The administrative assistant has a wide range of administrative and clerical responsibilities to carry out, with an overall responsibility of supporting the operation and the roles within it.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Ensure that personnel files are up to date and secure, and that transfer and disposal of records are completed.
  • Ensure that there are adequate office supplies available for use.
  • Update health and safety policies in the office and in the field. Disseminate training and communicate information to relevant parties.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Train new employees in office procedures, telephone systems and office equipment.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for home office with HR, Accounting and IT departments.
  • Coordinate and organize any travel and accommodation logistics.
  • Plan and execute regional events.
  • Additional duties required as needed.

Position: Home Visit Technician

Job Description: Obtain and communicate the necessary project information (roof dimensions, evaluate electrical equipment and determine where to land the solar breaker, and determine property’s structural integrity) to design team for the preparation of permit ready documents. Primary external interface and communication will be with potential customers and internal Sungevity team.

  • Must be cross trained in inspection duties to sit for inspections when necessary.
